Onboarding Preflight Checklist
Before we get started please have your usernames and passwords ready for your:
You may also need to prepare usernames and passwords for your Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.
If you have never created these accounts, our Onboarding Specialist can help to set that up with you
A Photo ID
If you have never run a Meta Business Page or Google Ads, upload a picture of a government-issued Photo ID to your computer. clearly showing your name.
(Driver’s license, National identity card, or Passport). This will help to prove you are the legitimate owner of the business.
Credit Card
If you plan to or are considering running ads, you must have your credit card ready. You will not be charged until you start running a campaign, and we can also suspend any screen-sharing as you enter your credit card information.
What To Expect During The Call
- You will need to be in front of your computer for your appointment.
- Unfortunately, this process will NOT work with a tablet or smartphone.
- To better serve you, it’s optimal for our Onboarding Specialist to be able to see your screen. This allows us to guide you through the onboarding process. One of the programs we use is called Glance.
Important Note
To protect your business, Constant Contact employees will only assume partial control of your accounts. This will only allow us to add posts, create ads, and monitor traffic on your behalf.
First and foremost, we believe your accounts are your intellectual property. We will help to grant you full admin powers, to the best of our ability.
Facebook / Instagram
The Onboarding Specialist will help:
- Connect to Meta Business Settings, assign users, and access levels
- Add or Create a New Page
- Add or Create a Business Instagram Account
- Create an Ad Account
- Set up Two-Factor Authorization
- Create and install a Meta Pixel to help monitor your traffic
- Verify your Page on Facebook
Your Personal Marketing Manager will help:
- Enter Page Information
- Upload a Logo and Cover Photo to represent your business
- Create and Schedule Posts on your behalf
- Assess a Marketing Budget and Create Ads for Facebook and Instagram
- Monitor your traffic on Facebook and Instagram
The Onboarding Specialist will help:
- Connect to or create a Google Analytics Account, assign users, and access
- Connect to or create a Google Ads account
- Connect to our create a Google My Business account
Your Personal Marketing Manager will help:
- Assess your marketing budget and Create Ads (this can include YouTube)
- Monitor traffic so know which ads or pages are most effective
- Assess your pages for SEO
- Create posts or pages
The Onboarding Specialist will help:
- Connect to or create a LinkedIn Page, assign users, and access
- Connect to or create a LinkedIn marketing account
Your Personal Marketing Manager will help:
- Assess your marketing budget and Create Ads
- Create posts on your behalf
